Source / Credit: AppScope Meta, Share, Comments With a beautiful metro interface and the ability to pin feeds (with live tiles) directly to your home page, Metro Reader is a great way to keep up. Metro Reader is designed for a people who have just a few feeds they want to follow closley. I'd love to see this packaged properly and in the Microsoft Store, but I doubt that it will happen at this late stage in the OS's life cycle. Metro Reader is a simple RSS/Atom feed reader without hundreds of options or thousands of preloaded feeds. Matched perhaps only by the official Twitter application.

With some more feeds added, here's a typical pane in 'My Feed', with headlines from AAWP and Android Beat, plus the default CNN and BBC (right) tap through to see the full RSS text, typically a paragraph or so for a feed headline (then tap through again to the full site if needed). Veen Feed Reader is a reliable and customizable RSS reader solution that you can use to sort out the content smartly and efficiently. The Live Tile allows you to see if new articles are available at a glance and the ability to download content helps viewing articles when you find those dead zones in life.
